Pioneer DJ has launched a six-channel beast called the Pioneer DJM-V10 Mixer into clubland and it’s coming out with some very cool features that you won’t see on other Pioneer DJ mixers.

Taking it down from 10..

There are 6 channels for you with the Pioneer DJM-V10 Mixer

The DJM-V10 has got you covered with six channels, meaning multi-turntable and CDJs sessions are the go, with scope as well for DJ-friendly instruments like drum machines and samplers. As multi-deck sets and hybrid live/DJ performances become more commonplace, the DJM-V10 is here to meet that demand.

The sound quality is amazing

With a 64-bit mixing and dithering processing chip and 32-bit high quality D/A & A/D converter, you’ll be getting the best possible sound quality from your tracks when you play out.

4-band EQs with compressors to work with

With the DJM-V10’s 4 band EQ and compressor, DJs have more options than ever to be flexible in their choices for their sets.

There’s also a compressor knob available on each channel.

Newly engineered Channel faders

Thanks to some new and clever tech, the channel faders on the mixer are more precise and are also a lot tougher, meaning that they will last far longer.

There are endless possibilities for FX sounds

You can connect up to two bits of external gear to the send section and create unique FX that can also be conjoined with the built-in FX that this mixer offers.

Live remixes can be done with ease more than ever!

The filters now have resonance control

The filters are a huge change on the DJM-V10 mixer.

There’s a new resonance filter that allows you to change the dynamics of a track, or gives you the ability to make small changes if you want.

To do this, you would switch to either the high or low pass filter, turn the knob to the left to start from the beginning, then all the way to the right for the maximum effect.

Now, the high and low pass filters are separate and there is more of a resolution to play with compared to previous Pioneer DJ mixers.

There’s new Beat FX

The DJM-V10 brings the ‘Shimmer’ Beat FX feature, which according to Pioneer ‘adds brightness to the original audio’ – Something to sprinkle on the crowd.

Back2Back DJ sets are now better than ever

This mixer also has a dual headphone output (Like the DJM900NXS2).

Both outputs also have their own Cue/Master mix controls and level knobs.

Booth? It also has EQ now..

The DJM-V10 has a new Booth EQ that lets you to tweak the sound on the monitor speakers.

It’s new, it’s hot

Think about it. This is the new kid on the block and it’s armed to the teeth with all the latest technology. The kind that makes all the other kids on the playground stare from afar with envy.

“You know why the Yankees always win, Frank?? it’s ’cause the other teams can’t stop staring at those damn pinstripes..”

The Pioneer DJM-V10 Mixer is retailing at £2,799. Full info here. buy here.
